In the autumn of 2008, Argelia Garcia from Mexico visited the Dongag Woesel Dargayling. She had been a patron and sponsor for the monastery since its establishment. During her brief stay in Bhutan, she stayed in the monastery for few days and observed some Buddhist rituals. Whilst in the monastery, she got acquainted with the monks and the locals.
Then in 2009, two more guests Susana and Horacio from Mexico visited the
monastery. They too have been sponsoring the monks and
seeking more sponsors for the monastery back home.
